Jamie Gandy wrote her first novel in 2011 when she learned about the National Novel Writing Month challenge that occurs every November. Writers from all over the world embark on a month long journey to write a 50,000 word novel. Being God’s ghostwriter she completed her first novel, and has since written two other books during the month of November during the 2012 and 2013 challenge. Jamie has a passion to share her faith through her poetry, short stories and the pages of her novels. Her love for writing was birthed when she embraced the gift God had given her to entwine words together for the Glory of God. Without Him, she knows every word is an empty vessel that has no potential to touch the heart of any of her readers. Next to her faith, her passions consist of spending time with her family, animals, and writing, and she loves capturing God’s creation through the lens of a camera. Jamie resides in her hometown of Austin, Texas with her three cats, Peace, Star and Knight and her two dogs, Gideon and Esther.
