H. Lee Willis is a lifelong model train enthusiast who enjoys tinkering with and improved toy train layouts and model trains as much as he enjoys running them. An electrical engineer by education and profession, he has published eight books on power system engineering and won numerous engineering awards for innovation and invention. Now semi-retired, he lives in North Carolina and spends equal amounts of time mentoring young engineers on their professional development and working on his model train layout.
