Bill Morelan was a finalist for the 2015 Arkansas Teacher of the Year, has served as a consultant for several elementary curricula, was Publications Chair for the Arkansas Reading Association, and was been a popular speaker at educational conferences nationwide. An experienced teacher, administrator, and author, “Dr. Bill” has a passion for quality education ... a process he believes should not only be meaningful, but FUN! In addition to his extensive experience in both public and private schools, Bill was a pioneer homeschooler — teaching his two daughters at home in the early 1980s. Both went on to achieve advanced degrees, and today one is a highly-respected elementary teacher, while the other is actively involved in the homeschool movement. Bill currently serves as Curriculum Administrator for a school district in the heart of the Ozarks. His “writer’s den” is a restored 1958 Boles Aero travel trailer in a campground near the Buffalo National River.
