Ora Lee Ruffin spent the last year planning for a family reunion at her home in Los Angeles on Christmas Day 1987. During a night of heavy partying and too many shots of tequila, tongues loosened and Ora Lee discovers inadvertently her deceased sister Caille Ruffin, who passed away at fourteen did not die of typhoid fever like she was told. She learned Caille was murdered and sacrificed by a group of Satan worshipping pagans in the racially segregated town of Denham Pass, Louisiana in 1955. She embarks on a danger filled quest to Louisiana seeking justice for a sister she hardly knew.
