A dedicated family man, Ryley provides for his beautiful wife and teenage son. He rarely sees the glass half empty and relishes in the fact that he lives the picture perfect life. After his son is involved in a car accident, Ryley realizes the people he thought he knew are strangers, including the one person who he felt would never betray him…himself. He attempts to make sense of his life as conspiracy and mind control threaten his very existence and seem to thwart him at every turn. Little does he know that over the next eleven days he will be compelled to reawaken his survival instincts in an attempt to hold onto the threads of his unraveling life. If not, he will be lucky to come away from the ordeal with his sanity...or even his life.

À propos de l'auteur

Sarah Landsdown began her writing career early in life and has always aspired to be a published author. Her sister, Julie, and she would pretend to be an author and publisher as children, creating works and "publishing" them for their family. Sarah's love for writing continued throughout her young adult life, but it wasn't until she was unemployed after graduating college that Human Nurture came to life. Sarah sat down at the computer and created a suspenseful few pages and shared them with her sister Julie. Sarah loved science fiction and considered taking the story to a different plot conclusion but Julie brainstormed options with her and Ryley Kolton was born. Over the next two months, Sarah wrote a rough draft of the novel. Although, life happened and she put her novel on the back burner while returning to school to earn her Master's degree in Economics. She subsequently took a job in north central Wisconsin as an Economics instructor at a technical college. It wasn't until after she met her husband, Matt Watson, that she began to actively pursue publishing again. Sarah likes to write suspense thriller, science fiction and fantasy novels. She is pursuing another installment of the Kolton series and a murder mystery novel.
