Synopsis

Trent was born in Newfoundland, raised in Edmonton, Alberta, and currently lives in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He is a correctional educator by day, and an actor/director with Odyssey Productions in his spare time. He is also an avid movie lover (over 1900 seen), reader, and recently: writer. He is married and has two busy, and awesome, little girls. He has written three sci-fi novels: Escape from Tykonia, Rise of the New Rebellion, and most recently, Legion of the Red Ring, all part of the Galactic Odyssey series, set to include 12 books in all. Trent first conceived of the idea for Galactic Odyssey after a dream he had when was 6 or 7 years old. As an only child, he spent a lot of time playing with Star Wars toys by himself and making up his own space adventures. He wrote a few drafts of the book in Grade 8 and 9, but it wasn't until Grade 12 when he had to do an English assignment on Creative Writing that he wrote the first draft of chapter one of Escape from Tykonia. That was in 1995. He finished the book in 2012. It took a while to organize all the ideas he had for the series and come up with a final product. With book 2 only taking 9 months to write, he seems to be on a roll. Book 4, What happened when Max came, is due in 2015
