"What if...?" explores the world around children by offering possibilities that would change the appearance of that world. It motivates critical thinking by allowing children to visualize and draw their own changes.

Gregory Vincent Selby attended public schools in Accomack County, Virginia (Mary N. Smith High School). He and his wife, Barbara, reside in Hampton, Virginia, and have three adult sons: Gregory II (Son, Gregory III), Gevell (Daughters, Amaya and Emery) and Gerron. Dr. Selby has earned degrees: Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering, Psychology and Theology; Masters in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. He worked as an aerospace engineer for NASA for 12 years and is presently a Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Old Dominion University (31 years). He has published several works of fiction and non-fiction and is presently a minister for churches of Christ. Sherika Delois White is a 1999 graduate of Green Run High School (Virginia Beach) with honors. She has attended Tidewater Community College and Atlanta College of Art. She has won awards for her creative work, including commendations in the Reflections Contest and in art shows in Ghent (Norfolk, VA). Ms. White and Dr. Selby are presently working on a series of graphic novels (science fiction) for pre-college instructional applications.
