During her professional career, Flo Barnett was a preschool administrator and daycare provider. She also taught kindergarten and elementary school for many years. Now retired, Flo writes hilarious tales for, and sometimes based on, the real-life antics of her seven energetic grandchildren whom she loving refers to as "Grammy's Gang." More recently Ms. Barnett has published the first book of her new series, 'Together In Peace And Harmony.' Preschool Friends A-Z Around The World, geared for ages 2-5. It is her hope that when youngsters see children of different race, culture, and religion in familiar and positive settings, they will embrace rather than fear diversity. Flo has also directed her focus on publishing nostalgic novellas which take place in the Fifties. Baby boomers are given the opportunity to go back in time remembering the milestones of their childhood. In them she explores serious topics such as abuse, bullying, self-esteem, puberty and loss of a loved one in a sensitive manner.
