Gregory Vincent Selby attended public schools in Accomack County, Virginia (Mary N. Smith High). Dr. Selby and his wife, Barbara, reside in Hampton, VA, and have three adult sons: Gregory II (Son: Gregory III), Gevell (Daughters: Amaya and Emery) and Gerron. He has earned several degrees: Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering, Psychology and Theology; Masters in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. He worked for NASA for 12 years as an aerospace engineer (Wallops Flight Center, Glenn Research Center and Langley Research Center) and is presently a Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Old Dominion University (31 years). He has published several works of fiction and non-fiction available at Amazon.com. One recent publication addressed to teachers and parents is "How To Rear a Scientist or an Engineer."
