"FREEDOM permits" is a fun read if you enjoy satire, humor, and irony laced with some common sense and a little history. This book is the result of the author's absolute frustration over the never-ending abuse of the American people by the bureaucracy in Washington D.C. The current levels of corruption and social/fiscal irresponsibility are unsustainable and must be halted. The United States is on a course that will ultimately result in the complete collapse of the best society in world history. At some point soon, common sense and morality must somehow become guiding concepts in our federal government's actions. Both major political parties are guilty of the abuse and neither seems willing to step up and make the changes necessary to bring America back to its rightful glory. No individual political topic or person is sacred in this book so everyone receives "special" treatment, some more "special" than others.

Don Stuart was born and raised on farms and ranches in rural Colorado. He graduated from Western State College in 1973 with a B.A. in Business Administration, and a minor in Economics. He has been a manager in a Colorado town, and construction and purchasing manager for a 1000 unit condo community in Florida. He holds Florida licenses as a community association manager and general contractor. He is married with two grown children and currently resides in Southwest Florida. Inside, Don makes poignant rants and raves about the things that irk him (and probably most of us) the most. It is sometimes funny, at all times well thought out, with a “take no prisoners” aim on the left, right and “center”. There are no “sacred cows” in this, his first book.
