About the Author Pamela Williamson, PhD is the executive director of the Women’s Business Enterprise Council West, a regional partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. WBENCis a coalition of corporations, WBEs and regionally focused women's business organizations.Before being chosen to lead WBENC’s western-based affiliate, she served as vice-president and deputy director of Meta Services, an organization specializing in mental health recovery. She earned a doctorate from the Southern California University, a masters degree in business administration from Ottawa University and bachelors degrees in sociology, social work and psychology from Midwestern State University.
