A CASE OF IDENTITY THEFT. A not overly attractive young woman seeks the help of Sherlock Holmes. Her husband is missing. Only a few days later the missing husband arrives, breathless, at 221B Baker Street. His wife is missing. Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to get the two of the out of England and the country’s greatest detective knows that some evil plot is afoot. Once upon a time Craig Stephen Copland was an English major and studied under both Northrop Frye and Marshall McLuhan at the University of Toronto way back in the 1960's. He never got over his spiritual attraction to great literature and captivating stories. Somewhere in the decades since he became a Sherlockian. He is a recent member of the Bootmakers of Toronto (www.torontobootmakers.com), and mildly addicted to the sacred canon. In real life he writes about and serves as a consultant for political campaigns in Canada and the USA (www.ConservativeGrowth.net), but would abandon that pursuit if he could possibly earn a decent living writing about Sherlock Holmes.
