Synopsis

This little book sings the praises of a party, whether brunch, lunch, cocktails, dinner or dessert because nothing makes us happier than being with friends and family. An amusing romp through the rules—traditional and new for the way we live now—with descriptions of memorable occasions, cartoons and laugh out loud quotes, it also appeals to armchair party-throwers. But do not be fooled. This is a practical guide to the basics and includes tips, short cuts, inspirations, rules of thumb on quantities and recipes. Take it along as a handy reference when shopping. It makes a perfect gift, alone or paired with a bottle of champagne, a set of napkins, a cup and saucer, a couple of glasses. Great holiday stocking stuffer, engagement gift or for newlyweds, for a housewarming, for singles settling into their own apartments, for friends of all ages for birthdays, anniversaries or to use as a tongue in cheek table favor. Ideal giveaway for anyone in the home entertaining industry.
