Robert Riger’s documentary of football in America highlights the careers and accomplishments of the nation’s best players from Curly Lambeau and Jim Thorpe to Sam Huff and Lennie Moore.
The Pros is the story in pictures and words of all the great professional football stars who have made football America’s most exciting sport. From Johnny Blood, Cal Hubbard, Dutch Clark, and Mel Hein—the full roster of the Greats is too long to list, but this book covers them all.
The magic and artistry of their performances are recaptured here in superb photographs, drawings, diagrams, and texts. The action-filled pages share a complete collection of games, players, greatest moments, and fond memories that will appreciated by pro-football fans of every age.
