À propos des auteurs

Susan J. Slotkis teaches interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She received Presidential Citations from the American Society of Interior Designers in 1998 and 2001 and is a member of the Educational Legacy Fund.

Yelena McLane, Ph.D. (2012), is an Associate Professor in the Department of Interior Architecture & Design at Florida State University. She is a researcher, educator, and practitioner with over fifteen years of experience in exhibition and museum design. Her research engages with complex spatial forms and employs a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to explore relationships between interior configurations and users' perceptions and experiences. Dr. McLane's historical research ranges from the spatial analysis of historic structures to mid-twentieth-century modernism in the Soviet Union. In addition to writing academic articles and book contributions, she curates and designs design history exhibitions.
