She has retired from the NYC school system and currently teaches writing at NCC in Garden City, NY. Sharon lives in Wantagh, NY with her husband Jonathan, is the mother of three and the grandmother of six. There Is Something Strange In The House Today is her 16th book and first to be illustrated by Dawn DiPeri and Joanna Pendzick of the East End Advertising Agency.
