I live in South Australia with my husband, Kirby, and our four crazy fur-kids, Frankie, Felix, Ari, and Odi. Kirby and I have been married for eight years and those eight years have been a series of adventures, with the most profound being meeting the challenges of infertility. I had every belief that I would one day become a busy Mum to one or two children, but instead I have taken the opportunity to pursue different passions. These include writing, indigenous gardening, protecting the environment, cycling, working toward the welfare of Asian elephants, and travelling. My dreams now include becoming a science fiction writer, travelling more of the world, and going to my beloved Boon Lott’s Elephant Sanctuary in Thailand at least every two years. My life is different to what I expected, but I have much to be thankful for.
