Synopsis

A serial killer has been active in the northwestern area of the United States for more than ten years. The problem is that most of the bodies have not been discovered and therefore most of the victims are treated as simple disappearances. That all changes when Rudy Coleman, who has a gift for visualizing the crimes under the right circumstances, takes on a case. If the crimes occurred near trees he is able to determine exactly what happened, and in most cases how the killer disposed of the bodies. When a wealthy man retains his firm to look into the disappearance of his wife two years previously, Rudy discovers the gruesome truth and suspects that this is not the first victim of the killer. Rudy and his partner unravel the facts methodically and discover that the same man is responsible for at least ten murders. The killer has been tracking them while they were tracking him, and the final solution is a little closer to home than Rudy anticipated.
