Drs. Bhaskar Vyas (1937) and Rajni Vyas (1937) have distinguished themselves in their respective professions as plastic surgeon and obstretrician-gynecologist respectively. When they had initial exposure to hypnosis in 1976 from H. Jana, Modi and Athawale, they were excited to find some common ground between meditiation and hypnosis. They explored it further to learn hypnotherapy as a discipline from A.B. Khurana, Ratubhai Parikh, Kripa and Aruna Thakur, and Ernest Rossi. Vajrayana and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra gave further strategic support. They have conducted numerous workshops and trained several hypno-therapists. They initiated and are teaching hypnotherapy at M.S. University, Baroda, India. They have been Presidents of the apex hypnosis societies.
