This adult novel examines the interplay between the privacy of sexuality and social acceptance. It looks at incest and voyeurism without flinching, in order to expose the anatomy of male and female sexualities and sexual politics, cultural norms and queerness. Daniel Watkins was born in 1963 in Oxford and educated at Cambridge University where he read Philosophy. He has written six novels including Glengoth and Where Are the Songs of Spring? which won finalist medals in the Next Generation Book Awards, 2012 and 2013, respectively. He is an independent author and lives in Saudi Arabia and central Portugal.
