The eldest of two children, John Kinter was born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, in 1964. He graduated from Ambridge High School in 1982. After spending ten years in the military, he left where he attended the Community College of Beaver County with a Computer Information System degree in 1996. He has held several computer positions around the Pittsburgh area, currently working for a major international law firm while working on writing projects during the evenings and weekends. John’s first novel, Paradise Confined, Prison Island, was published the end of 2009 centers around the top six nation decide to create an island paradise turned prison for the worse of the worse from prisons around the world. Dreamweaver chronicles a coming of age story of three teenage girls who go to the carnival to visit the Dreamweaver, a fortune teller. While getting their reading a disgruntled visitor comes back with a gun. The girls are able to get the gun away from the man and police were able to subdue him. Later that evening, the Dreamweaver meets with the three teenagers and she offer them one wish each. It is what those girls do with that wish that sets the course of their lives. Jaded Heart is his first endeavor into the erotic fiction. The book John is most proud of is A Matter Of Survival. The story was written with his granddaughters in mind. The book took three months to complete its first edit. In less than six months, the book was completed in six months. John has also written and published five short stories, A Penny For Your Thoughts, Cabin Fever, Claude’s Christmas Story, The Basement, and The Card.
