Synopsis

Charlotte Bliss is excited about her new job at Lowly Manor Convent School. After all, everyone knows nuns are good people and she could do with some therapy from a caring set after the life she's led. But when she scratches the surface of life at the convent and gets to know the headmistress, Sister Basil, Charlotte finds out that all is definitely not as it seems. Isn't it painful when dreams come crashing down around you? Unwittingly thrown into a bizarre world of mystery and corruption, it's all Charlotte can do to pull lessons together and carry on teaching. As she slowly fits random pieces of a less than holy jigsaw together she fears she might be stumbling across the unsavoury truth of Lowly Manor just a little too late to save not only the school but her own life... If you enjoy Agatha Christie's murder mysteries, you'll love this book.
