The Land of Life and Rest: Studies in the Book of Joshua

Stop wandering in the barren wilderness of spiritual defeat and claim your divine inheritance of supernatural power, rest, and victory.

For countless Christians, the daily walk is characterized by a grueling, repetitive wilderness experience. We wrestle constantly with habitual sins, buckle under spiritual dryness, and wonder why the abundant life promised in the New Testament feels so far out of reach. We forget that the wilderness was never meant to be a permanent residence—it was only a gateway to the Promised Land.

In The Land of Life and Rest, the legendary prince of expositors, Dr. W. Graham Scroggie, delivers a breathtaking, structurally brilliant roadmap through the Book of Joshua. Originally delivered as the historic 1950 Keswick Bible Readings, these highly sought-after messages unlock the profound Old Testament types that map out the deeper Christian life. With his signature microscopic biblical precision, Scroggie demonstrates that Canaan is not a picture of heaven, but a vivid portrait of the victorious Christian life available right now through the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
