Mirror of Intimacy contains a year’s worth of daily reflections that explore and support the range of human sexualities as a divine gift and a human right. The reflections reference a rich array of approaches: attachment theory, mind/body nexus, neurobiology, 12-step principles, meditation techniques, Eastern and Western philosophy, and ancient world myths. Unfettered by cultural, social, or religious norms, we set our intention to examine 366 topics related to sex and sexuality. A reader writes, "Mirror of Intimacy is a 'vade mecum,' one of those books which you don’t let out of your sight. As a psychologist, I am happy to have this magnificent creation to use with clients and patients leading to their enrichment, joy and celebration of life. The book will soon be one of the important therapeutic tools in our field." It’s a promise--these pages will erotically enlighten you and your world!

Tom Bliss graduated from Pitzer College with a self-designed major in "Multimedia Performance: Life as an Art Form." While penning his senior project--a symbolic play about a playwright being forced to show up in his own symbolic play--he was privileged to experience Samadhi, the supreme state of enlightenment through meditation. Upon graduating, he joined the San Francisco-based Chero Company founded by Frank Moore, the wheelchair-bound performance artist/shaman, whose marathon all-nude “Eroplay” happenings encouraged people to connect freed of social and cultural programming. During the next 15 years Mr. Bliss worked on both coasts as a multimedia performance artist and writer. In 2007, he entered a sex and love addiction recovery program at the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center, and attends weekly support groups through various organizations. In 2009 he completed the Parent Educator Certification Program in Non-Violent Communication (NVC) at Echo Parenting & Education. He has appeared as guest educator on the PBS series, "A Place of our Own," discussing topics ranging from emotional literacy to self-care. www.CenterForHealthySex.com
