I have been writing and selling professionally since the late 1970s. I use a variety of names including my own name, Sharon Sigmond Shebar, Jonathan and/or Susan Shebar, Lacey Shay, and when I write with my friend Judy we often use her name, Judy Schoder. To date I have 15 books published with commercial publishing houses such as Simon and Schuster, Franklin Watts, Aro Books, Barron's Educational Series, and others, as well as a list of articles in various periodicals. I have two eBooks published with Smashwords and Amazon. I teach fiction writing for both adults and children at Nassau Community College in Uniondale, Long Island, New York.
