In the South hundred year old pecan orchards pass from generation to generation, magnolias and azaleas bloom, and the sun rises and sets on rocking chairs and sweet tea. In the midst of this timeless tradition lies a deep dark gypsy scandal full of mystery, murder, rape, and revenge. Charlie Williams, a United States History professor at the University of South Carolina, half Southern socialite, half gypsy, is caught in a scandal when her father, the leader of a gypsy clan, is accused of terrorism and the FBI investigates. When Charlie is kidnapped, gypsy revenge includes torture and murder on Lake Murray. A lovers triangle emerges when Charlie s ex-husband, Mitch, leads the FBI investigation against her father, and her former, boyfriend, Kale, a gypsy, is suspected in the terrorism plot with her father. This brings both men to South Carolina and back into her life at the same time. Charlie, her mother, and her grandmother, three generations of Williams women, must stand strong against the SCandal.
