Dialogue is imperative, but it begins with a confession of what has gone wrong in both religions, a willingness to repent and a desire to engage each other in practical dialogue for the betterment of humankind.The book sets out an agenda for dialogue which is seen as dialogue "from below" as opposed to dialogue "from above." It starts with a response to situations at the community level and not in the cloistered halls of academia or with officialdom in both religions. Hopefully this kind of dialogue will enhance understanding among the adherents of both faiths as they open themselves to the rich diversity of religious consciousness.
