This book contains 40 black and white photocopiable worksheets that can be used to encourage and aid with the learning of times tables. The sheets follow a structured approach which can be used as a resource by teachers (or parents) to improve pupil accuracy and speed of recall. The book also contains guidance from the author about how he used the worksheets over many years to raise pupil performance. The sheets are designed to be used across a wide age range that spans upper primary, middle and lower secondary/high school pupils. Success can happen if they learn to Beat The Wall. Suitable for age 8+ to 16.

Tony Colledge was educated at Bishopshalt Grammar School in Hillingdon, London. He gained a BSc in Civil Engineering at Swansea University in 1976 and then the following year he trained as a teacher at Gypsy Hill College, Kingston in London, where he received his PGCE. He spent 37 years in England teaching maths across the whole ability range to pupils aged from 8 to 16. In 1992 he wrote his first book about looking for patterns in Pascal’s Triangle. When he retired in July 2014, he decided to adapt and publish some of his most successful resources in the hope that other teachers, parents and pupils might find them useful.
