Kevin Acott is a lecturer, photographer and glutton for punishment who supports Spurs, loves Trieste, eats cheese, listens to Motown, Emmylou and Jah Wobble, stares wistfully at Victorian architecture and drinks the occasional whiskey. Born in North London, he spent most of his adult life in Surrey with his nose pressed up against London’s window, before finally breaking back in and making it as far as Crouch End. He writes poetry, short stories and film and album reviews at Something About England. Kevin has had poems published on Ink, Sweat and Tears and short stories on The Londonist and Smoke: A London Peculiar. His Great Unpublished Novel is both great and unpublished.
