Born in Kingston,Jamaica,Rashida Costa came from humble economic means. Rashida migrated to Florida in 2003. There, she met and married her husband Dr. Paul Costa. The couple's son, Antares, was born in 2010. Rashida has written and published several articles including 'Wearing the Jewelry that Best Accentuates Your Face'. She is also a poet.

Rashida is the CEO and owner of the company Exclusive Jewelry For The Elite, a business she opened in 2014.

Among many roles, Rashida enjoys volunteering at organizations such as the American Red Cross.

A graduate of South University, Rashida earned her BSN degree in Health Sciences.

Rashida Costa didn't actually turn to writing as a career until 2012. Since her childhood she has always been involved with writing and reciting in one way or another. A passionate and talented writer in the children's arena.

Rashida shares a passion of excitement and adventure with her readers.

She continues to be the leading authority in her field, but she is a proud wife and mother first.
