Biographie de l'auteur

Having spent most of her days in New York, Debra Canestraro currently makes her home in New Hampshire's White Mountains. A retired school teacher, she now turns to writing as her means of enriching and entertaining young minds. Her aspirations have given birth to a recent arrival in children's literature-Miss Winny Wee. The delightfully quirky protagonist in Debra's three-volume holiday collection, Winny, is a kind pint-size witch who lives in Witches Notch. She adores her cat Spooky, her friend the Wizard, and polka dots. In "Fly, Broom, Fly" the author's first book in verse, Winny successfully meets an unexpected Halloween challenge. In "No Tarts for Wizard" she's back on her broomstick, enlivening Thanksgiving with a spirit all her own. The tale promises to warm the heart with cozy visions of giving and genuine gratitude.
