Synopsis

Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen once wrote a book entitled Life Is Worth Living and I wholeheartedly agree with him. As I wrote my life story Funny Things Happen on the Way to Old Age, I realized how joy-filled and worthwhile each life experience has been. Tucked among some factual information, you will find funny, unusual and sometimes profound stories and essays. I trust you, the reader, will have fun sharing my life.

A propos du livre

Biographie de l'auteur

I come from a family of storytellers. My mother started it all by constantly telling us stories of things that happened to her during the day or remembering stories from the past. As children we would say to her, Mom, you ought to write a book! Unfortunately, she never wrote them down so now they are lost forever. I decided not to make the same mistake, so here are my stories. Enjoy them! Other books by Joan: Picture It Yourself: Little Red Bird's Bright Idea and Seven Other Stories Trapped and Seven Other Stories Travis and the Silver Bike Megan and Michael's Misadventures Think About It: Walking in the Fullness of Faith, a Spiritual Perspective
