Synopsis

Poem, Prayers and Promises is a compilation of my work, giving honor and glory and praise to whom it's due. That being Jesus Christ, the only Son of God. It's my prayer that my poems bring encouragement to many, along with peace and direction. Please enjoy and share them with the rest of the world. I'm just a vessel the Lord used to get his love to you.

A propos du livre

Biographie de l'auteur

My name is Doug Hughes, and it wasn't until a month in the hospital with a broken neck in the 1980s that I found the Lord-or, more correctly, he found me. I was lost and headed for destruction, but over the years and many car accidents, I decided to do something different. I chose to follow someone a lot wiser than myself. I did some real soul searching and reached out to the Savior and started writing poetry and songs for the next several years, inspired by Gods' Holy Spirit.
