Well, not really much to tell about a new author, so here goes. I'm a forty-five-year-old tradesman who, unfortunately due to an injury, had to quit in the fields of welding and carpentry. Due to these injuries, I suffered bad depression, anxiety, and stress, and through counseling, I started to write. The more I wrote and the more my wife put it in front of people, the more I was told that I should get this published; so I did. I'm a down-to-earth person with a knack of putting thought to paper. So if you liked this one, I am planning more in the Chronicles of the Fallen series. I wrote this book for the following-for my mother, who instilled love and understanding; for my father, who showed me that heroes do exist; for my brother, who I draw strength from; for Deb, who taught me how to love again; for my children, who instilled admiration; and to the love of my life, Pamela, who instilled the courage, dedication, patience, and most of all, pride to push me to this point. Also to the thousands of others who were with me along the way. Thank you all and stay strong.

It was funny I started this book as therapy through counseling, but I found the more I wrote, the more people became interested. My wife began this journey for me into writing by just throwing it in front of people to just get their opinion on what seems long ago a simple short story, but to my surprise, they wanted more and more, and I was asked by many people when I was going to publish; well, here it is. Please enjoy. I look forward to creating my next one.
