Biographie de l'auteur

J. Mac McCafferty worked in bars and restaurants in Pittsburgh from 1980 to the present. His main career was that of a history teacher in the Pittsburgh Public Schools from 1980 until retirement in 2014. He also coached football and track during that time at a variety of schools for over thirty years. He received his BA in secondary education from the University of Pittsburgh and received an MA in liberal studies from Duquesne University. He has been married to his wife, Janet, for nearly thirty-five years. He and Janet share two daughters, Shannon and Kaitlin, and one and a half grandchildren, Teige and a granddaughter to be named.
