Dana Regan is originally from Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin, and has her bachelor of fine arts degree in illustration from Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri. She has illustrated more than 75 books and written seven early reader books, which, collectively, have sold more than 1 million copies. She lives and works in Kansas City, Missouri, with her sons, Joe and Tommy, who are a constant source of inspiration and tech support.
