Christy Ware is a twenty-year veteran educator with specialized training in dyslexia and the Science of Reading. Many years ago, in first grade, Christy learned firsthand the transformative power of the school library from Mrs. Mack, her elementary school librarian. Her goal is to have engaging decodable texts available for student checkout in every school media center in America, so that every child can love to read.
After spending 15 years in the classroom, Wendy Ramey is now an elementary media specialist. She loves to provide students with successful reading experiences so they may grow to love reading. The highlight of her day is seeing a child sit down with a book and light up when he or she can read the words.
