Debra Burke-Simpkins lives in Bend, Oregon with husband Eric and their son Devan. The home is ruled by her second Bernese Mountain Dog, Mozart, two cats, Everett and Elliott and a bearded dragon named "Puff". She is the author of the children's book, "The Luna Tuna".
