Erica L. Kennard has been writing poetry since her undergraduate days in college. She promotes positivity and believes everyone is a lifelong learner with knowledge to share. This is her second book of inspiring poetry. The other book is Sacred Thoughts a collection of stimulating poems that produces a reaction. Born in Dallas, Texas, Erica received her undergraduate degree from Texas A& M University-Commerce, Texas and a Master's Degree in Bilingual Education from Southern Methodist University. She is a Librarian, Educator, Author, Motivational Speaker, and CEO/Founder of Language Ladders, Inc. Erica is the mother of two handsome sons Eric and Xavier. She has two energetic cats Flash and Smokey. This is a woman that is passionate about empowering people and her community. Erica is very involved in her community as a volunteer and is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
