Zachariah was born in New York City on 125th Street. His family moved to Asbury Park, New Jersey, when he was twelve, where he graduated from Asbury Park High. He later went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of San Francisco and the Academy of Art University, as well as an undergraduate educational background in early childhood and a graduate educational background in counseling psychology. Zachariah then became a preschool teacher, and has been one for over eighteen years in Northern and Southern California. As a preschool teacher he has had the fabulous opportunity to work with children from high income families and low income families, children of various ethnicities, races, and cultures, children enrolled in full-time daycare programs and in the traditional half-day preschool programs, children who have behavioral issues and children who do not, and children who have consistently been shown love and children who have not. The tips and observations in this little book are based on real experiences over a span of many years, and do work. Zachariah sincerely wishes you and your children the very best.
