The fog came first. Then the silence.
Nationwide, police forces are collapsing. Budget cuts and a drastic surge in seemingly random, savage murders have left the remaining detectives desperate. Former detective Will Hunter is one of many called back into service, partnered with special operative Eve Evans to help the elite De Omori agency stem the rising tide of chaos.
Their investigation leads them to Ravensdowne, a remote village swallowed by an unnatural fog. Once the team enters, the rules of the world change. Ravensdowne is a void that swallows the police, the military, and drones without a trace.
Someone has unleashed a biological nightmare designed to push Eve's training and sanity to its absolute limit. But they failed to account for Will Hunter. Beneath his dishevelled exterior lies a man harbouring dark, forgotten secrets and a certain skill that may be the only difference between escape and becoming another silent victim in the mist.
Now, as the creeping white horror closes in, Will and Eve must face a terror that knows their weaknesses... or join the ranks of the missing.

David was born twelve miles north of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in a small Northumberland town in the UK, and although he enjoys regular forays to the real world, he has lived in the general area ever since. He studied IT and creative writing at university (Not at the same time!) and he says there's no competition to which one he enjoys the most. He can be found with his nose in any books he can get his hands on, but of course has a particular affinity with horror novels. Strange fact – whilst he enjoys horror movies, he will freely admit that he can't stand slasher/torture films (with one or two exceptions). Writing for both the adult and young adult audience, David is quickly establishing himself as a writer to keep tabs on.
