Synopsis

Susan Hart Snyder doesn’t sleep very well… “It’s those darn hamsters endlessly spinning the wheels in my brain. On and on they run, their tiny paws racing, their itty-bitty tongues flapping, their pea brains leading them on a circular path to nowhere.” In this Second Edition of Hell is Not a Place – It’s a Time, which includes six new essays, the title piece is a metaphorical assurance to those who also happen to have their own brain-spinning hamsters that they are not the only ones who have raised sweating the small stuff to an art form. The other essays, from Following Tequila Trucks to Old Broads to Mining Mulligans, take an often humorous, sometimes poignant, and always thoughtful view of life’s journey. For those of you interested in joining Susan’s group, the meeting time is 2:30 a.m. She hopes to see you there.
