Synopsis

These days, a quick glance at the news can be disheartening. So much of life seems defined by stress, depression, and anxiety. Coupled with personal failures it can all be just too much. Substance Abuse finds an easy home. Fortunately, some manage to cope with the challenges and stay free from alcohol, drugs, and depression; but how do they do it? What's their secret? For Peter Judge, it's discovering the way to positive life force energy that gets him through the day. He is now blessed with happiness, and alcoholism no longer controls his life. He gives great thanks to a lot of Old Wisdom and Faith-Based Methods that he happily shares in his new book. Using a bridge metaphor, Judge beautifully illustrates the two great awakenings of consciousness that lead to his long-term Happiness and Sobriety. First, one must actively embrace a Positive Energy Lifestyle. Then, one must cultivate a personal relationship with God. Through it all, he gives wonderfully practical advice. He lists Positive and Negative Energy Life Style Choices, as well as prayer, and simple, quiet, contemplation. From conception, to death, his book considers the comprehensive life cycle of each of us, including questions about the afterlife. Judge simply, and thoughtfully, ties his symbolic bridges to theological, psychological, and scientific theories. He helps readers thoughtfully manage Life Style Choices while achieving maximum emotional and spiritual health. His book is easy to read, and near impossible to put down once started. He is a living testament to its Wisdom.

À propos de l'auteur

Peter J. Judge was raised in the suburbs of Rochester, New York. Like most of the kids in his predominantly Irish and Italian neighborhood, he had a strong Catholic upbringing. After high school he took a Degree in Applied Science and eventually landed in Salt Lake City. It was there that he met his future wife, a mother of three. Together they went on to have three more wonderful Children.

After the deaths of two of his children and an extended battle with alcoholism, Judge reevaluated his life and, ultimately, his faith. This led to sobriety, and sobriety led to physical and emotional health. With the release of The Way of Two Bridges, he hopes to help others overcome challenges and find peace. Judge and his wife still live in Utah, where he spends his free time camping, gardening, and writing.
