Synopsis

Mugsy is a man on the road to nowhere, his life is passing him by. On a freezing cold night, on a dark country road he comes face to face with the mysterious Mr Mirrage. Why is he compelled to tell this stranger his life story? Why is the strange man so interested in Mugsy's past? These are questions that will be answered by the end of the story, but more importantly they are questions you may ask yourself one dark lonely night. Red Admiral is a dark comic tale of a lost soul in need of redemption. The content in this book is not suitable for children. Strictly adults only.

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

I am a latecomer to writing, not surprising as my true profession is driving trains. I started writing only a few years ago in my spare time and would keep it to myself, but when I finally allowed other people to read my work and it was met with approval I got such a buzz. Of course you can't please everyone so I have had to develop a thick skin to protect myself from the disappointment of inevitable criticism. I try to vary my writing style so as not to be labelled or categorised as a certain type and hopefully gain a broader appeal. As I was born in Birkenhead and live in Liverpool I tend to use characters and locations I am familiar with which may make me more popular (or unpopular) on Merseyside.
