Dustin Brites, a single dad and combat veteran of multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, now an emergency medical technician for the fire department in his Florida hometown has lost faith to believe he can love again and be the kind of man a woman wants in her life. Then he encounters Kerra Masters, who suffers survivor’s guilt since a car accident with her best friend who is now paralyzed. With the help of fate and the wisdom of those older and more experienced in life, two wounded souls have the opportunity to find peace and renewal they didn’t believe possible.
