Synopsis

Postponing The Crone is the first of four volumes of poetry by Azalea Ælfric based on the author's unexpected and passionate love affair. Ælfric's poems span from the romantic to the comedic via the erotic, and can challenge a faint-hearted reader! Discover a modern Aphrodite with her Dionysus , the transformation of stale fairy tales into meaningful insights and even a post-feminist dilemma in 'An Ode to My Pubic Hair and its Lack Thereof'. Sometimes sublime and sometimes ridiculous, these poems are (over)shared in the spirit of good humour and a celebration of life's flips and hot flushes!
