Biographie de l'auteur

In 1979, as Tom Jones had done many years before, Deb left Pontypridd to follow her dreams. An innocent seventeen year old she set herself three simple goals: to travel the world, remain single and independent until she was at least twenty-seven, and find a challenging career that allowed her to play sport. The British Army seemed the obvious choice. By the ripe old age of nineteen Deb realised she needed a new plan: The furthest she had ventured from Wales was Scotland, and she had met and married her very own Prince Charming. She did eventually travel the world and played her beloved netball in most of the countries she served. The advantage of the new plan was that 'her rock' Allan, accompanied her (on her travels not the netball court). After just short of thirty-five years service, and personally assisting many senior officers it was time to say farewell to the Army and to start a new life in sunny Cyprus. Throughout her life Deb has dabbled with writing poetry and songs. Her first book was 'Reindeer Dreams' - a quirky rhyming Christmas story for children featuring Barry the reindeer and his family. Deb's first grown-up books about aliens and unearthly spiders could be explained as off the wall. Her latest trilogy came to fruition when she started pondering the ultimate question 'what next?' The result was 'The Afterlife Series' featuring Claire - a girl who, due to an oversight by her guardian angels, arrives in the Afterlife before her time. She is too early to enter heaven so guides the reader from her base in Cherussola, where the Committee will decide her ultimate eternity. 'Jason the Penguin' is a three book series; the first was written to celebrate the arrival of a new family member and the others will follow shortly. Deb now spends her time writing full-time, volunteering, avoiding housework, keeping fit and playing tour guide along with her husband.
