Growing up with strong Southern Baptist black parents in a 95% white middle class community, Va found himself facing all the trials, tribulations and traps that face black men in America. After graduating high school, he landed a well-paying job at a large insurance company. Before getting to comfortable there, he enlisted in the Air Force, quit his job, and left for Harstville, S.C. From there, his life took him on a tour that included military experience, telemarketing experience, a Bachelor’s degree from the School of Hard Knocks with probation experience, pimping experience, music industry experience, fast food experience, fitness and healthcare experience. He is a currently a social entrepreneur fighting fear, ignorance and isolation with Love, Learning and Communication with the Virtual School of Thought, Eye C U Online. He also helps others feel better with Exquisite Feelings. He is currently a father of four, and true believer in the L.D.S. Church. He is a modern Road Scholar which is someone who is knowledgeable on a multitude of subjects based on extensive travel and experiences rather than academic studies.
