Dr. Jim Beaird pastored for thirty years prior to becoming the Executive Director for the Southeast Region of Open Bible Churches in 2002. His passion is church planting and leadership development. He also authored The Proximity Factor: Essential Disciplines in a Leader’s Spiritual Formation and teaches seminars to leaders and churches ready to maximize personal and corporate spiritual growth. He and his wife, Kris, have three married sons. They reside in the Tampa Bay area and together enjoy the beach, target shooting, and walking.
