Synopsis

"As the flames caught more of the pages, Stephen let the paper drop into the bin. He turned to Sally for the rest. Too stunned to defend them, Sally let him throw them into the fire. Tears welled in her eyes as the smoke billowed from the bin and drifted into their faces." Stephen Hughes has always lacked the confidence to succeed as an author. When tragic events lead to him being the only living person to know about a manuscript, he finds himself wrestling with his morals and emotions. How powerful can jealousy really be?
